After reading and finding information about Romans and how they used animals for entertainment, I see the assessment really taking shape. Like I already understand the Romans were extremely bloodthirsty and loved to watch fights with beasts, gladiators and prisoners.
INFORMATION
Animals for Entertainment
In Ancient Rome, entertainment was a big part of their lives. Romans would take captive thousands of animals from exotic places. The animals were captured and forced to fight, attack and kill. Most slaves and gladiators were armed to fight the animals to either the animals death or their own. The animals that would kill and be killed consisted of elephants, lions, tigers, monkeys, bears, leopards, hippopotamus, rhinoceros's, giraffes, camels, ostriches, wild boars, wolves and crocodiles. Spectators would watch as a fight against the animal kingdom VS the human race. The rooms under the arena floor were filled with caged animals and temporarily dead bodies of animals and human.
